Performance upgrade Mercedes-AMG GT 63 C192

707 PS (+122 PS) on production hardware with vehicle-specific Lambda‑GT calibration

From 585 to 707 PS. Calibrated, not just turned up.

Lambda‑GT develops the GT 63 from 585 to 707 PS on its production hardware.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 already starts from a high level of performance with 585 PS. Taking it to 707 PS is therefore not only about additional peak power. What matters is how the extra 122 PS feel in the car and how the higher output works together with the entire drivetrain.

Power delivery

122 PS more – across a broad, usable rev range.

The additional power should not exist merely as a peak figure on the dyno.

Boost pressure, cylinder charge and torque request are matched to one another and calibrated in interaction with the drivetrain. The aim is a power delivery in which the additional output is available across a broad load and rev range – rather than being concentrated in a narrow window at high revs.

Calibration

Individual Calibration: tailored to the specific GT 63.

At Lambda‑GT, not every GT 63 simply receives the same dataset.

Before calibration, the existing software and data version of the engine control unit (Bosch MG1CP003) is read out. The vehicle-specific calibration is built on this basis. This allows different software versions and relevant vehicle configurations to be taken into account, instead of flashing a universal dataset regardless of the individual car.

Protective functions

The GT 63's standard protective functions are not deactivated for the additional power.

Knock control, exhaust gas temperature monitoring, component protection and limp-home strategies remain part of the engine management.

The upgrade to 707 PS is calibrated within this system architecture – instead of bypassing protective functions to reach a higher power figure.

Data status & release

Developed, tested and documented – for the GT 63.

The GT 63 performance upgrade is not based on individual, isolated map changes. Lambda‑GT develops a coordinated calibration base for the C192 and adapts it to the data version of the specific vehicle.

Changes are developed against defined targets for performance, driveability and thermal behaviour, verified by measurement and documented. This keeps it traceable which data version is installed in each vehicle.

Engineering Validation

The calibration is not released after a single power run.

After calibration, Lambda‑GT tests the vehicle under defined conditions. These include an acceptance drive, power measurement and repeated load runs with evaluation of relevant temperature and operating values.

This means looking not only at the power achieved, but also at whether it is delivered reproducibly and with traceable thermal behaviour under the tested conditions.

Dyno Verified

707 PS are measured on the specific vehicle – not taken from a data sheet.

Every GT 63 calibrated by Lambda‑GT is measured on the in-house dyno after calibration. Power and torque of the specific vehicle are recorded.

The customer receives the certificate belonging to their vehicle and with it traceable proof of the measured result.

Enquiry

707 PS for the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 – individually calibrated, validated and measured on the dyno.

The Lambda‑GT calibration for the C192 combines the performance upgrade on production hardware with vehicle-specific calibration, technical validation and documented power measurement.

Depending on the vehicle and the customer's wishes, the calibration can also be extended with further functions or performance components – such as adjustments to start-up and idle behaviour, defined sound functions or the integration of additional performance parts. Additional changes are not implemented in isolation but integrated into the overall calibration of the vehicle. Examples can be found under Real vehicle projects and Personalised vehicle configurations.
